What is the Pre Camp Evaluation?
 |
The Pre-Camp Evaluation includes the following: 1. We will give you an introduction to Boot Camp
and answer any questions you may have. We will also
review your medical history.
2. We will take a few simple measurements to see where
you are prior to beginning camp. We don't care what
the measurements show. It's strictly for a post-camp
comparison. These numbers and all other information
will be held in the strictest confidence. (optional)
3. Meal Planning Workshop to help prepare your body to be nourished with the appropriate foods that can help with your body's tranformation and readiness to respond to the exercises. Don't be surprised if you loose 1-3 inches just by changing your eating habits!
4. See you at camp!
|

What if I sign up for the three day plan and then want
to do all more days of the camp? After starting camp, many participants realize how fun and convenient
it is so they request to sign up for more days. In addition,
they realize that the more days they attend camp the greater
the results. In these situations, you will simply be pro -
rated from the point you decide to join us for more days .
Will I be sore sometimes? Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After
that point, it is slight to moderate. It's part of the process
that lets you improve!
What
kinds of people go to camp? They are people just like you. Someone who needs
a little push to jump start their fitness and wellness program.
Most campers have some history of exercise, but it's not
required.
Is there a refund policy? If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances out
of your control, we can offer you a refund if you notify us
prior to your session start date however we will charge a
$50.00 cancellation fee. If we are notified after your session
begins, we can give you a credit towards another boot
camp. This credit is nontransferable. There is no cash refund.
What is a typical day like at camp? That's difficult to say since each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom and to promote muscle confusion which gains the best results . You can expect mat work, circuit training mixeed cardio with strength training , weight training, obstacle courses, and a fun game each week. On special days, we will go hiking. It's always an adventure, and you'll always have fun! We teach you a great deal about proper form and "core stability." We also offer weekend challenges using various parks, trails, and other locations. Free to current boot campers and $17 for drop ins.
How
soon will I see results? Performance improvement can take place in as little as three
days. "Visual Improvement" can take from two to
four weeks depending on your effort level. It's becoming common
to see a camper go down 1-2 dresses sizes within the first
camp . Remember, everyone is different!
Are there shower facilities, or a place I can get ready
for work? We are located near a 24 Hour Fitness, Vision Quest and Bally's.
If you have a membership at either of these clubs, you can
get
ready there. The Kent Location has access to showers at the
pool next to the school at the cost of $2 per day.
What will I do after camp is over? You can get re-measured and tested to show your progress and
success in the program. Many (up to 80%) of the campers return
for a second and even third camp.
What other events are included or offered? On occasion there will be special events hosted by Puget
Sound Adventure Boot Camp. These will be educational or
community related
events which will allow you to learn about health and fitness,
contribute to the community, and socialize with other members
of the boot camp outside of our daily workout sessions.
You
will receive more details about special events on the other
pages within this website. What is the cost (investment in myself)? Each four-week boot camp has a registration fee of $299 plus
tax. That's twenty hours of instruction for around $15 per
hour! Personal trainers can typically charge $40 to $120
per hour for their services - this is a great chance to receive
motivating fitness instruction by a certified personal trainer
for just a fraction of the cost. Where else can you get premiere,
cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price?
Other Options: Better and more dramatic results will come from your
participation in the 5 day a week program. However, we also
offer 4 and 3 day programs
We are now accepting pre-registration for the next camp.
You will get your pre-camp evaluation by your coach prior
to the start of camp. Once we receive your registration
information you will
