| WHAT
IS IT?
A four week outdoor
exercise program of fitness instruction, nutritional
counseling, and motivational training provided
by fitness experts Clemence Lafrades, Alfred Ra'oof and
Melissa Hardin.
Each day begins exactly at 5:30am for
one hour. Start your
day positive, motivated, inspired, and energized.
WHAT IF I'M NOT VERY PHYSICALLY FIT?
NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of
doing safely. Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each
day will slightly increase in intensity.
WHAT
TYPES OF EXERCISES ARE INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM?
Core conditioning,
short distance running (1 mile or less), lunges, muscular
strength, jumping rope, circuit training, hiking, obstacle
courses, PAR course, push ups, Pilate's, Yoga, surprises
and more.
WHERE IS IT?
Adventure Boot camp will be held on the fields of Todd
Beamer HS (Federal Way), Kent Meridian HS (Kent) and
Steel Lake Park and Annex (Federal Way).
HOW OFTEN WILL WE MEET?
Participants will meet every Monday
through Friday for 1 hour during the 4 week program. All
participants are expected to be on time.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
24 ounces of water (minimum) that you will finish
during your session.
Dumbbells/hand weights ( If this is your first time, start
with 5 pounds and increase to 8 later)
Exercise Band (Elastic rope with handles on each end.
Estimated cost $6 each at Target or $11.99 for a set with 3
different intensities)
Exercise/yoga mat (campers
prefer the thicker
version found at Target and Big 5 for $19)
Hat and Gloves
Waterproof jacket
Appropriate running shoes to prevent injury, pains or
strains.
(Visit Road
Runner Sports in the Kent Station if you have not had your
feet's form, gait, and strike examined by a professional who
can recommend the correct brand and style for your individual
needs.. They will use the latest high tech devices for free.

And most of all, a positive attitude expecting to have fun,
work hard, and achieve amazing results.
Except for a sense of adventure, these things can be purchased
from Target, Wal-Mart, or any Fred Meyer's.
